I've decided to upgrade my Samsung galaxy ace phone. The small internal memory severely limits the number of apps you can have as some like navionics can't be moved to SD card. Question is, if i get a new phone, will i have to re-purchase navionics?
Apart from memory size the ace has worked well and was cheap.

when i got a new smartphone i was pleasantly surprised that i could download and install the previously paid for apps for no cost.
Seems to be the sale is to your google account rather than to the specific piece of hardware.
Cheers

Thanks for that info - now off to check out what phones available in my price bracket with more memory. Hope no-one objects to asking questions about mobiles on this forum but it did concern Navionics as well.

If Android an out-of-date Galaxy III is probably a good idea - I bought one for £120 and If you'd like to PM me I'll tell you where in Shropshire I got mine. That has 32Gb (though the 16Gb one is widely available).
