Upgraded Raymarine S1 autopilot software

I just upgraded my S1 from 304 to 463 software version. I am not sure if it is the upgrade or the calibration, but it is better now. I am still waiting for the gyro which will arrive in two weeks.

I'm interested too, not that I'm dissatisfied with with my S1 but I'm sure it could be better.

As I understand it, the gyro is quite expensive and it would be interesting to know if you think the overall upgrade was worth it once you get it installed.

I got sw and instructions on eBay.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for this software update to the S1 course computer? I can handle the connections, I just can't find the software.
