great pix

wow.

Palma-wise, incidentally, in summer, with a boat that size you could anchor outside Puerto Portals and use the speed boat in and out - not so sweaty as in the marina either imho and a zillion quid cheaper.

Re: carpet

Darn it!! (fake american accent) You noticed the carpet!! It has been replaced with a nice cream number.

As for the Chris craft, it is towed. Unfortunately on this occasion we're going to leave it here in the states but in future I'll try and convince the owner to ship it where the boat goes.

I get some pictures of the wheelhouse next update.

We've got a mooring in Palma.

palma

yep as you said but Puerto Portals only bout 6ish (?) miles away is all jet-settish, full of whizzy shops and restaurants and hence a bit must-see-ish - finding a mooring there will not be so easy or indeed er mite be impossible (i was offered £100k pa for 23 x 6 m two years ago or £350 per nite but no berths...) - so anchor favourite. Skippers from all over whizz over and badger badger for a space even for a night - but in that you will be fine outside, protected bay. A scooter/small motorbike thing wd be useful whislt on the island - parking a car a bit of a nightmare so cabs for guests probly.

good news bout the carpet :-)

It looks fantastic but I'm afraid I live in a different world. It reminds me of when I used to cheat the fares on the train from Warrington to Liverpool so that I could go on the ships in dock. (I couln't get on board at latchford locks) I was allowed on very Palm line, Windsor Castle, Bibby etc etc and loads of Royal Navy vessels and I wasn't even in the sea cadets at the time as you had to be 12!
Well my 31 footer that needs an inside refit having undergone a complete outside (new decks and cockpit) but I will have to wait until the lad has finished UNI and I've paid for my Daughter's wedding and I've paid a nice price for my Silver Wedding Anniversary next year etc etc. One day I'm going to get that Boa!!!!!!!

Dead jealous. great pictures.
Regards.

Peter.
