New images for google around river Colne, much higher resolution. Look like about 14 months old. About 1/2 flood tide. Pertwee and acboa miscreants inside buoy 17 clearly visible. Joann still on mooring in the creek must have been a weekend I was trying to avoid the hangover.

Think you are right; I think it is a weekend. TG is on her mooring and my car is on the drive with the hood down. WM Yacht Club car park and overflow car parks are full which suggests a weekend - indeed usually a Sunday because of the racers. However, it's before pub opening time because the Victory PH Garden is empty but it can't be a Sunday morning because my neighbours car is on his drive and he always goes to Golf on a Sunday morning. So I reckon, its a Saturday about 10am, probably late June (our lawn is browning but not yet burnt. Can't be April because the Wisteria has finished. It's close to the hour or half past the hour (there is a bus waiting in West Mersea at the head stop).

What do you think Watson?

Your suspicions are correct, a little while ago using mapsource I was able to plot my course at low water through Oyster Creek and the Hadliegh Ray.

That was of course until the new pictures show that the bloody tide's in!
