Hi All
Further to the earlier post made about experience required for my booked bvi charter next month
On the way in to the show i stopped by the Rya stand to ask the difference betwen the power and sail day skipper practical
and was told its about 50% different.
So armed with this new knowledge went to the sunsail stand where i was told 5 days experience would suffice.
They offered me a charter with a skipper for some lessons on a larger boat which i declined i got the feeling there operation is a bit of a farm em in and farm em out job
So I have booked a Dufour 34 for next weekend from mercury marina for my 1st 2 days so watch out the solent here we come
