Hi all n merry xmas new year / all kings etc if in Spain....
Bin back to the UK for more bloody medical crap, but hey, back in LC now.. missed xmas, but new year and all kings up n coming..

Just an update on Oza (Marina Seca)
NOW has a REAL fuel berth, credit card pumps, major hard standing upgrade etc.
good value, but you NEED to ask if you want external workers on yer yot.. diy is no problem though.
Darsena deportiva la coruna is still the best for mooring, Oza for lift out now, better than el ferrol..

STILL no wifi in LC, or EF or Oza, but available with hi gain antenna et al.

hope u all have a great 08

We were getting worried about you, same as with Trouville when he just 'disappeared', and everybody thought that Stella had finally shanghaiied him to a life ashore..... with no more Trou tales again.... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Good to see the Slarty crew back again! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
How is your chart table conversion going?
Any more photos for an update?

re the chart table et al.. job stopped !. hopefully restart soon as health improves.
got to return to blighty again in late Jan for more darn tests.. but hopefully new meds will work.. getting fed up of seeing the inside of neuro wards in spain and england.....
Still hoping for azores in June.

Got quite a bit of work to do on Ruddles. looking to hire a local guy to assist on some of it.. need to come out the water too as a matter of urgency.. got a real prop garden growing lol...
All main structural work is complete (ie chainplates, rigging, deck sealing etc). got to fit the new leccy winches and autopilot, AND sort the interior, but at the worst case the interior can wait till azores.. just slap a quick ply screen up to locate and secure items..
There are 3 live aboards here for the winter, so we are planning a haul out week in a few months, many hands etc...
As soon as my balance returns a wee bit I will crack on with things..
Have a great 08 all.

Dave is back in Ireland for a few months now.. so very quiet here, just like we like it.. we alo have Dee Caffari's open 60 in here, Aviva, she was dismasted in Biscay..
Lovely sunny warm day today.

Hope u are keeping well, and dont let 20 germans stand on the pontoon lol.. !!!

I'm finally in Lisbon!

I would gladly give you Palexco details, the only problem is, they cut me off! I was sent an email saying they didn't expect me to be using it so much, and also cut of the C0 link on the same day. Oops! Luckily it was three days before I left, so it was no biggie, but irritating nonetheless, because I had every intention of passing on the Palexco goodness /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I should have stayed another month in La Coruna, and stolen that Open60. I'd be in Australia by now...

Making preparations for the Canaries now. Trying to sort the liferaft situation out.

Happy NY!

Wouldn't recommend it - 10 years old, had a hard life (formerly known as Group 4 and HelloMoto), plus the mast and key bits of rigging are at the bottom of the Bay of Biscay!
