I'd heard this before - something to do with Wightlink knocking down a pole in Wootton creek IIRC

I'll be interested to hear the outcome Ian. I did a PEC (Pilotage Exemption) many moons ago and we were shown the radar coverage. IIRC, there were a couple of 'holes' in the harbour if you wanted to do a bit of speeding.
