Up the Rhine and down the danube.

We have done a fair bit in and around France, and spent two years down the outside and in the Western Med. The next project will hopefully be across France to Strasbourg and up to the top before entering the danube and down to continue into the Eastern Med.
Has anyone got any information about any regulations/ permits needed?

Once again many thanks, I'll need to start learning some German in addition to the French already carried. Plans are for 2015; too busy in 2014 so far.

I've got the same plans.....then around the Greek islands and Sardinia etc returning by the Rhone and canals...around 5000 miles.
