I have an interesting (pricewise) opportunity to buy one old power boat.
But, current owner does not have any data about boat, except it is brand "Naval" ( in France every boatbuilder is "naval") , and is produced cca 1984.
Its 22-24ft long, 8ft wide, and have inboard AQ200D.

Does anyone know what type of boat it is .
It is possible that there are some modifications (windshield area is suspicious ) but it have very distinctive coach roof front part, with double " gunnery" type windows ,and some fancy "corrugated" part under windows.

Price is not bad ( for my world) , and if it some of pre-90's "tank-strong" construction- why not ?

Any one can help?

Looks nice. If you’re interested, get a good survey. it will be the engine, transmission, water system, electrics that will need the closest attention. All of these will be manageable.

thank you guys for support. from boat with unknown origin, from "who-knows-which" owner , I could not expect too much.
I know that engine is AQ200D, it runs (when it starts- starter issue), that drive is sturdy AQ280, but with "not used" electro-trim...
Also, there are some modifications inside ( galley, head) so I am looking for the origin ( manufacturer and type) to check , eventually, how boat look originally .
Typical project boat .
Here ( east Europe) we have a certain junk-yard museum of forgotten boats, form 60's, 70's . People buy it on West , sometimes as junk, usually without engine, in bad shape, devastated interior , but usable hull . Than, new owner, typically with limited fund and knowledge, adopt it to own requirements .
so, it is hard to find boat in original shape . except new ones .

Thank you in advance .

Reminds me a bit of an early Saline 22 Continental ... built between 1978 and 1986 ...
me too, but coach roof on SeaLine was flat, this one is !arrow" shaped?

possible some clone of SeaLine?
In 70-80's , there was a lot of copies/license build types. Like Greek copies of ChrisCraft , British version of Cruisers Inc ( still popular), a numerus copies of Scandinavian models. It is possible this is some clone pf SeaLine ..

I though at first glance it looked a bit like my old Sealine 22 sport. Windows in the cabin are different shape, but could have been an early version?54AA6C30-0584-46B3-BDCB-A7B9696434C5.jpegA32BD148-B0F9-43FA-B7EC-D17E18B7D0DF.jpeg

could be. I am planning to visit boat , maybe for a weekend, so we will know more. Problem with boats is that most of them, from the same period, also, look same .
