This weekend I may be buying a new boat. It has a chart plotter (amongst other things!) that I have never seen before.

It is a Vision 07 Colour. Apparently it has a card with the UK east coast installed. Anyone any experience of these plotters? Easy/hard to use? Useful features or lack thereof? Stick it in eBay? What's it worth?

I have a SH plotter that I kept from my last boat.

Any comments or links to a manual much appreciated. I have googled but very little info in this brand of CP

Thanks

Thanks Sailorman, quick work! I found those three results when googling earlier. Not much info in them. Looks like they are pretty rare. I was hoping someone here may have used/owned one and could offer comments on how good, or not, they are.

SH greatly superior.
I changed to a Garmin 750 huge improvement.
The 7CVX dated from 2002 Jeanneau fitted them briefly.
I got £120 for it I think a year ago. There was one on eBay at 200 don't know if it sold.

I have a vision 7 b&W plotter. Is ok and does the job.
Slow to refresh when zooming in and out
Also loses gps signal for 1-2hrs a couple of times a season.

Depends how much you depend on the plotter.
Agree that SH plotters are far superior!
