Earlier this week a new take-out food/drink bar type place opened at Universal. It's located in the building near the entrance to the East pontoons, between the facilities and the brokers.
It's take out only, no seating whatsoever.
However, I bought my lunch from there yesterday and again today, and all I can say is... YUMMY. Yesterday I had a blue cheese with artichoke quiche together with a load of tasty salad and it was well tasty. Today I had a "Special breakfast salad", which was essentially the same as the C-O-D from the King's Head, Lymington again with a load of salad. Also delicious.
They also have a good coffee/etc. machine and make good hot chocolate and have a good selection of teas.
To top it off, they do a 10% discount for berth holders. Price is also very reasonable. Today's lunch, two main dishes and two drinks for a tenner.
