Yesterday, while sailing down the Orwell, past Shotley, I was hailed by another boat.....
"Sailorman".......
"Sailorman".......
"SAILORMAN".......
Hey SWMBO says... theres someone over there yelling at us... I think he's yelling 'sailorman'......
And yes... there he was... the one and only 'Sailorman'!
So it got me to thinking.... how many of you have made unexpected rendevous with other forumites?
I'm not thinking about the planned meets, or the meeting of two forumites who already know one another... but unexpected, first time meetings...
For me, its one of the real pleasures of being a part of this community.....
PS... nice to meet you Roger, even if it was only while circling one another in the middle of a busy channel.....!
