For anyone whos read any of my threads will know I'm very much new at the whole 'big boating' adventure and still to launch our family's 32ft fairline.
I'm down to a handful of jobs which I'm hoping to complete next week alongside the engineer who has said he would also be done this week, so technically ready for launch, minus a bit of a scrub.
However since my dad bought it back in July, its been a steep learning curve of boat maintenance while sorting it out, wiring new kit, re wiring old kit to work, understanding the way things are done on the boat etc... you all no doubt get the idea.
Anyway today my dad decided to say for my efforts to get it sorted and get through then work needed with a fair bit of dedication, he was going to give me his smaller boat! I thought we were going to be selling it.
so now I own a 16ft aluminium assault craft with a 25hp outboard and trailer. All serviced and ready for some sunny weather
2014 is definitely going to be good for the water for me and our family
