Seems to me it would have been cheaper to have put the steel on a Transit truck and sent it on someone elses boat

I would be more concerned about the poor grammar used in the article!

Maybe there is only two tons of steel left on board because the other 1998 tons fell out when she capsized.
The article also referred to the ship as having sunk which she might do at some time but she is currently still afloat.:ambivalence:

2 tonnes of steel sounds like it probably was a Transit van. :ambivalence:
