Having thought about it, I can't come up with much, though teak deck might well qualify (I currently have one and it's more trouble than it's worth IMHO).

Despite having come from a sailing background myself the mere fact that the SB thread (http://www.ybw.com/forums/showthread.php?486792-What-you-do-not-want-in-a-boat) has quickly grown to 82 posts of often chippy prejudiced blimpish comments is pretty illustrative of a certain strata of the sailing fraternity.
