Just got back from working away in Aberdeen, turned up at our trials site in Mayflower Marina.

About two weeks ago we stowed our bruce anchor in the fwd locker on our trials vessel. We went to use it yesterday and the anchor had gone - they had left all the scope (chain and rope) but just the anchor had gone. Barstewards!!

so they will have the security tapes of everyone who passes through their barriers carrying a large brown paper parcel, won't they ?

Left my boat in a marina on the Hamble a year or so ago. Had some fenders stowed the cockpit complete with fender socks. When I came back, someone had nicked the socks and left the fenders. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

You left it alone for a YEAR and all they took was the fender socks!!!!! Are you sure? I'm surprised there is anything left at all, have you looked inside yet?
