Is the Wayfarer class association doing its best to deny access to members and new applicants?

My attempt to log in was rejected. To renew my password, it was necessary first to confirm user name. This done (by email), I requested a new password...then I attempted to log in using exactly the username and password supplied by the site in recent minutes...

...and it's again rejected. Again and again. Perhaps I could use the "CONTACT US" option? No. To do that, I must first log in.:mad:

No phone numbers. No other options. Any suggestions?

Are you using cut and paste for the password?
Keyboards and locales can mess up special characters.

Also, try adding the site to your "trusted" sites list.
Turn off "private" mode on your browser.
Try a different browser. Firefox?
Or you could have had too many duff attempts for the time period, in which case mow the lawn and try again later.

Just a glitch probably ... it happens with amateur run websites

The Contact Us facility is publicly accessible. Are you saying the email contact system for contacting the Webmaster is not available unless logged in?

What about trying one of the other email contacts ?

Ring the secretary on the telephone number given on her contact page.

If you are a member presumably you know all the committee names, addesses, phone numbers and emails addresses.

Well when I looked at the web site I could find lots of phone numbers, in particular the secretary gives both a number and snail mail address so they are not hiding that seriously, though they should perhaps show an e-mail address rather than relying on a members only webmail system

I have to say the Wayfarer membership person could do no more to put me off when I was thinking of a Wayfarer. Fortunately the chairperson stepped in and sent me details with a smile. Site probably mimics the attitude of the membership bod.

The MemSec's a bit of a Dale Carnegie then?:D
