I am guessing here that requirements are roughly harmonised across Europe (?) so you would need:
Whatever licence to operate the vessel that your home country requires.
Evidence of ownership
Radio operating licence
Radio installation licence if Norway requires one
VAT payment evidence? Not sure if Norway is blessed with VAT.

However, in practice there is little likelihood that anybody will take the slightest interest in any of them, except possibly the radio licence.

It occured to me that we seem to know what we need going 'abroad' But visitors coming in to the UK? Which one day may include me.
The Norwegain Registion is a small laminated, credit card, size document. But knowbody seems to know about VHF licences here. I brought a VHF radio for the 'new' boat over here in stalled it. Then sat back wondered who the hell I was going to talk to.

Thanks for the Info.

PS Do I need a licence for the Harpoon mounted on the bow?

PPS If anyone as wondered. Whale meat taste like liver, But I think liver is the better taste.

Eventually they all get those spiral breaks of the tibula/fibula Vyv, when they come off. If you just wait long enough all jet ski riders will eventually be in plaster somewhere.

Trailing rope? The thought of flying down the Solent being towed by a harpoon enraged jet-skier is a grisly one!

ummm... don't think the UK lets casual visitors bring firearms into the country registered or not... I think I'd leave the the shotgun at home. For some reason UK customs people get very excited when they see gun shaped things. I brought my airgun back with me when I left Norway and when the customs chaps saw it in the packing case they removed me to another room and started asking me all kinds of questions. They had to get some chap in to confirm it was an airgun (HW 77 if anyone is interested). Needless to say they went through everything after that with a fine toothed comb.
