UK Circumnavigation books - posted in "For Sale Forum"

I don't think there's a need to advertise posts in the For Sale section here. Surely those that are interested in buying things would already know where to look?

Ah, but do those who might wish to acquire know what the random, unannounced seller has to offer?

I apologise if I have offended your principles of advertising ethics, but I wish to assist those who may not know what is available - even if they are as yet unaware of what they might require.

As it transpires, I feel I have provided several people with articles about which they might never have known.

Who knows what my dual-posting may have stimulated in the latent minds of potential and unaware circumnavigators ?

Oi! Moderators!!

He hasn't posted a price for either of those well-worn and probably out-of-date doorstops..... How many Rools is that?

Never mind the 'genteel ticking-off'. A guid ol' fashioned gubbin' would do nicely....

Well, I didn't post a price on this forum, but did in the For Sale.
If I have transgressed the rhulls, then I 'umbly hapologise.
As it is, I think I may have stimulated a latent urge in one of our tribe to consider a circumnavigation - which surely is wot all this forumry is about???

I stand ready for the gubbin' and a spell in the stocks :o

If everyone who has something for sale, posts it here, and clutters up Scuttlebutt, what will be the point of having a "For Sale" forum?
