UK Boat Insurance (Third party) for non residents

Hi,

I need to insure my Invicta 26, only third party.
Last year i used www.basic-boat.com but the cover is only available to UK residents so I think is should not valid.
Do anybody know a company that can insure the uk registered boat for uk waters to non uk residents (EU)?

Bit of a contradiction there as it is not usual (but not impossible) for a non UK resident EU citizen to have a boat registered in the UK.

In theory registration of the boat is not an issue for insurance purposes, but the residence of the owner is. Think you will find that UK insurers for basic third party insurance will normally only insure UK residents. You could try a broker such as www.yyachtinsurance.com
