No way! Salt of the earth, gnarled seaperson. Ah, but taken a long time ago.

His boat looks great too. Not quite so sure about the Ensign though /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

My nomination would be the past and present Candlelit cruises boats (moored at Tilehurst. Their proportions are wrong to my eye, but then who am I to say?

Now there's a picture of me on the net I'm going to inundated with infatuated teenage girls after my body.

At least there is plenty to go round! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Blimey. That Photowotsit software really is impressive!

Greetings Byron, from the City of Sneek in Friesland. Just goes to show, you never know who is watching!

Here's me thinking that Pheran was lost in a maze of Dutch Canals either that or Holland's latest member of the Clog Dancing Tulip Eating Edam Growing Club.

That`s not Byron... where`s the roll up???..

Anyway to get back on course...this boat is truly ugly but I`m sure someone loves it..

Available in kit form from Jewsons...just ask for three sheets of shuttering ply and a box of nails...

Look carefully at the photo my trusty Baccy Tin and lighter can be seen in front of me.

Excuse me, but I was just wondering...............

I was looking at the photo, and well, are you sure that is a boat you are sitting in?

The dashboard and the steering wheel are very reminiscent of a MK4 Cortina GT! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

PS. It's funny how you sometimes get an impression of people by their posts on the forums, I always thought you were one of those posh people, but I can see now that I was totally mistaken. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's a 1972 Thames Conservancy Patrol boat, formerly The Loddon and I still have the old girl today despite ever increasing offers for her.

YES! I am posh, just like The Queen I never go to the Lavvie. One a month a Tanker comes around and draws me off.

In that case may I see some more pics of her please?

I will refrain from commenting further, because I am bound to say something very distasteful! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Alas Safari on my Mac can't resolve this image ( there is no problem with the other images on this post).
I am left intrigued - would it be possible to repost in a different format?

Many thanks
Terry
