Hi Folks,

Can you advise on which type of rubber in a shaft bearing will be the most hardwearing
polyurethene or synthetic nitrile rubber.

Many thanks

Rob

P.s have had difficulty logging onto PBO site recently as keep on getting diverted to an advert ,aah.

Wear per se is not an issue as the shaft does not come into contact with the rubber but runs on a film of water. Wear only really occurs if you run for long periods in sandy water or if there is a problem with the shaft such as out of true or excess movement.
