When clicking through JFM's "Delta Powerboat" link I noticed that they do a very nice 26 footer...

The Colombo hands down.
Call me biased if you wish (I tried that hull, and the area of the lake where the Colombo video was taken is the one I see from my lake home windows).
But I also feel that in general the Delta style doesn't work well on small boats. Not as well as with bigger hulls, anyway.
I also don't like the Wally tender, in fact. but that's me, of course.

Agreed. From a looks point of view, boat design for this size should have been stopped with the first Riva

I had a trip on a 30ft custom built ally s/y tender, very similar design to the delta/Wally. Could have just been that boat but it was a very wet ride. Smooth but very wet.
