two stroke engine

i have a yamaha 3.5 hp twp stroke,i bought it at a boat jumble so no documentation,my question is,what oil to petrol mix should i use? i.e. 100/1 or 50/1

the engines is about 9 years old

Highly likely to be 100:1. I have a Yamaha 4 HP bought in 98, which is 100:1.

thanks james,i had it at 50/1 and it ran poorly,so i thought that 100/1 would be the answer
