You might remember this one ...

How about this one.... around 10.00 this morning .F10 gust turning the water to mist and spray all the way from the Fort in top corner, right downstream to Sheerness, 12 miles away in the far distance. Its just after low water and tide is not yet running hard,
Look just next the crane in middle distance. Yikes.

It's a Steeler.

Have they finished refurbing that rather posh house opposite the meadows.?
Seem to have been working on it for years.
Everytime we moor up there, its still being worked on.

As for Turbo 36s, have to watch my step , far too many owners in RCC for comfort now.
Probably a Bakers dozen and not enough fingers to count.
Only good point about the T36, is due to the design resembling a brick outhouse, they do an excellent job of keeping the wind off more discerning skippers walking along the moorings..
The wide and inventive collection of curious devices to enable crew to clamber aboard their craft, always provides a few moments of interest as you negoiciate ones trolley up the pontoon. :)

If it's the house behind the Steeler? then yes it's finished and looks rather splendid.
Seemed to do it without scaffolding so they must have been tight on the budget :)

Did wonder if the private refuge of some offshore oligarch or merely a interesting investment for some company with a brass nameplate on a door in the IOM.
