Two breakfast and lunch options at Bradwell.

For the last seven weeks there has been a smart mobile catering unit with outdoor tables situated near the aerial. They open for breakfast at 0630 Two very cheerful ladies run it.
The marina bar has now started to do breakfasts 0830 to 1030., having previously been reluctant.
Turf wars have broken out - the ladies say they are there to stay.

The ladies do a great breakfast at a good price. Really friendly ladies. I have no connection with the catering unit for what it's worth.

I hope they stay, the cheese /bacon burgers are superb when on a patrol.

Bit of thread drift.

When I worked at LGW there was a greasy spoon type cafe airside.

Usually had a queue out the door with airport staff.

I don’t remember the price but they did a breakfast baguette- sausage, bacon and egg. Often sold out if you weren’t in early enough but sufficient to fill you up for the day!

Also when I was with fisheries protection we had our favourite breakfast haunts.

There is nowhere like that here. One local chain does a pretty good breakfast at a great price but it’s not a full English. We stayed at a place a couple of years ago for my birthday and they advertised a full English breakfast- I almost wet myself. Unfortunately it wasn't close - spicy sausage garlic mushrooms, no fried slice, no tomatoes ;(
