No but it could do. A couple of Sundays ago Mapleduram was on winding only public operation, but lockie had use of power. He was about to go off for lunch - would have been ideal to tweet "don't use Mapleduram lunchtime winding only".

Well perhaps it's a good idea to keep things in the "club"..

By all accounts it was a very short-lived problem. Apparently a case of a starboard sluice sprocket out of true on't 'treddle. Soon fixed by some PC geek.

We went through on the start evening in question; pushing buttons (well a camper did it for us) and nary a problem.

Pig of a lock to wind otherwise.
 
Does the "African Queen" on the move constitute a hazard worth reporting?

Shiplake pump-out and Mapleduram elsan disposal not available today.
