Hi,

Anyone know where to buy cable clamps / securring clips that will mount 2 battery cables around 13mm diameter for running power to a windlass etc ? Cable is 50mm sq or, as stated ~13mm o/d.

All ideas gratefully received,

Thanks for the suggestion, David, but I already have the connection lugs and the battery terminals, what I am looking for is securing clips that will take two wires and attach them to the boat interior during the cable run.

Care to be more specific, Bigwow ? I am looking for cable clips that will secure two wires each ~14mm dia to a typical boaty style interior and would really prefer specific recommendations based on peoples actual experiences.

Thanks,

Boo2

Ahhh, you want P clips http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/260423542132?hlpht=true&ops=true&viphx=1&lpid=95&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=95 This is what I use on a regular basis, strong and easy to use.

Also as you have 14mm cables you could use these, very tidy and cary two at once. http://www.screwfix.com/p/double-hinge-clip-15mm-pack-of-50/20167

I've never seen a double P clip (I guess more like a B clip) although in this case the size allows David and Hadenough's ingenious plumbing solution. What I've done in the past is use two P clips "back to back", with one screw going through both of them. Or (for slightly smaller cables) screw-down cable tie mounts and a big cable tie round both of them.
