Twin Volvo penta d3 2007 190hp. Wont rev over 2000revs in gear , throttles will not calibrate but work

Can anyone advise, on this problem , the turbos , vacuum , fuel , evc units and hdu as all been gone through and checked , can not calibrate the throttles it just stays at 1.0, they are working and moved cables to full throttle in gear but no power only revs to 2000revs , regards

Motor boat next to me in the marina had issues, with the local engineer unable to solve the problem. The boat went to sea & revs dropped. Seems the volvo engines had a "safe mode" built in. This happened twice until he took the boat to Volspec & they did the job properly. Perhaps your engines have a safe mode as well.
