Just finished my evening run along the tow path and saw one Hon Vincent Cable MP strolling past the raft.......maybe he has been looking on here?

Just finished my evening run along the tow path and saw one Hon Vincent Cable MP strolling past the raft.......maybe he has been looking on here?

Possibly looking for some accomodation cos of all those late night sittings and due to reductions in expence allowences ?

Not all that likely, Vince lives locally and uses South West Trains to get to the House of Commons. (I have seen him on the train!).

He never claimed for a second home or anything like that...just the lowest rate of expenses!

True - and he comes across as one of the good guys up in Westminster. Maybe he was just taking an interest in the raft - he must have seen the old one many times over the years. Let's face it, you could hardly miss it.
