Other clubs present but wonderful thing crop tool in Photoshoppe :)
Main memories of visit,Ian "Brayman" putting out more than sufficent ropes to ensure that the river bank was not going anywhere overnight, lecture on gel coat cleaning by No Regrets, owner of Release and his failed attempts to get me the least bit interested in his folding radar arch problems and being asked to instantly resolve the various electrical maladies on Legacy shortly before the captain of the vessel dozed off in mid sentence giving us the chance to make our escape.

Wonderful to see you again Fred, if only briefly!

Other notable 'Quickies' were Angela Q and Bill, er sorry, Mike Gates.

Angela met both myself and Apollo I believe, and was very sweet, while Mike avoided us both times!

Surprised No Regrets hasn't changed his signature yet!

Luckily my safety line attached to the campshedding came into play when this morning's high winds pulled out my stern pin.

First time we've had an indoors TVR - you missed that Fred, you also missed AngelaQ. You ought to stay overnight next time, try drinking when it's dark.

Great to have everyone there, and some "new" trophy winners this year. All, but the best Lady Skipper, came from the Thames Forum - how's that for success?

O dear . What a horrible sight . As much as i love boats ............ It makes you think narrow boats actually do look quite nice . Sorry .

Cuchilo???

Ian, I did promise NOT to change my signature, Boatone was most insistent I wasn't to become unbearable. Well, any more unbearable anyway....

Oh come on. Stop being so (uncharacteristically) modest!

You won Top Boat at the 2010 TVR boat handling. That is something of which to be very proud.

Add it to your signature. Go on, go on, go on. You will. you will. you will....

:)

OK, but fair credit has to go to my trusty crew!

The spring line story must be saved for a rainy day though ;)

They will be published, trouble is it might not be for a couple of weeks as I'm off on holiday. Trying to catch up now on my laptop - on my lap!!!!!!

Seems to be a slight discrepancy between these two above. Apparently a certain ex commodore was to blame for not putting out land lines, should have known better as he did them ok during the boat handling test.

Nowt to do with me, I was just following instructions...

Interesting thought though, what have this year's winning boat and last year's winning boat got in common (apart from both being Bray members)?

Well done No regrets a top performance :) we were ecstatic to come in second on our first go, all the forum boats looked good and it must have been very close.

That'll be it for us, Top Family, Top first timers, and ODCC vs Harleyford, too much silver to polish :D

That will be the crew! :)

Nice to see the Commode & Vice-Commode making themselves useful....

(Oh, and by the way Darren, thanks for your assistance on our return to the marina yesterday!)

Not quite, the Commodore wimped out, except of course when it came to collecting the trophies! I'm beginning to feel like rent-a-crew - in the week running up to the TVR, I was slated to crew on three different boats!

No problem, must admit I was quite happy to have been travelling back from the TVR by car yesterday.

Thats a pretty good haul for your first time, I know the first time entrant in particular was keenly contested (four boats?), well done!

I think I managed to meet you and say hello just before you left on Sunday...
