I have a Shakespeare SeaWatch® Marine TV Antenna that has its own power supply running two televisions. I am getting a great signal in the saloon on a Avtex W153D TV but a poor signal in the aft cabin on a Avtex W103D.
My question is can i fit a amplifier/ booster at the point of splitting the cable run when there is already a power supply on the cable drop down the mast?
Thanks in anticipation.

The good and poor signals in the two different locations, is due to a mis-match of cable length. The shorter cable TV gets the best signal and the longer length cable TV gets a poorer signal due to the extra resistance of the copper cable, and degrading of the signal.

I had this problem at home when I tried to run TV's that were remote from the main TV that had the Sky signal into the Sky box. Matching the cable lengths without using connectors (i.e. new cable) gave the same picture on both remote TV's.

On a battleship, perhaps. Or with poor quality cable in the longer run.

Try swapping the TVs, one may be more sensitive. See if the problem stays with the TV or the location.

[Later] Also, I assume the antenna has two outputs, one may be higher gain. Try swapping these first.
