I wonder if this is possible but am thinking of installing a multi purpose screen around 21-27 ". It would be used to play DVD's (or even act as a repeater for movies from an ipad via Apple TV) but also act as a repeater for my Raymarine ST60+ system (Wind, depth, speed etc) and C70 plotter.

If it can also show our position on a chart that would be great maybe with data from an NMEA wifi as I have a Seatlalk interface box behind the chart table panel.

Any advice or thoughts welcome on how this can be achieved.

Thanks in advance.

Has anyone tried to send the Navionics chart display out using a dv cable? If so you could run the Navionics on your iPhone and display the chart on a massive 20 inch display. Interesting.

Apple TV would require a 230v mains feed but a DV out cable would be a direct connection. I'll try it next time we're in a marina.

It works quite well, for the display all you need an MFD with video out, I did it with a Garmin to a 21" TV, I expected poor resolution but was surprised at just how good it was.
