TV in the Med - Sorry again!

Sounds good but "Can be switched" ?? ... how d'you do that then? ... please.

Lots of ways depending on the telly. Some older ones have two buttons on the remote with Roman numerals one and two, that makes swapping very easy. Others have single button that takes you to the audio menu, you choose between sub titles and language audio , choose language audio and then you are asked to choose from a list, which maybe only two choices, french or original. Extra choices are things like qad, every program is different.
First, if there is a voice over it won't work only dubbed. Make sure the program is English or usually American. It doesn't work on every program but last night i could watch NCIS New Orléans but we watched Stalker, didn't check the other channels.
Just checked and my new Philips has a Roman numeral button on the very bottom right of the remote.
Some you have to dig into the setup to find it, mostly only works after 9pm
Unfortunately doesn't work on the Simpsons

I bought my TV in the U.K but because of space constraint the max size for me is 20". The problem is no one does a smart 20" TV. I think I could push pre downloaded stuff from my VPN'ed IPad directly to a smart tv especially if it was Samsung.
Hence why I'm looking at an Apple TV solution.
Just realised you question was for Crosssy but this still may be of interest.

Samsung do a 22" smart TV. Surely you can manage an extra 2", (across the diagonal ), :)

Thanks Bouba .... we're on the boat for 3 days this week so we'll give it a try. Be very handy if I can make it work!

It fits in a cupboard designed for a 4:3 TV (boat is a 2002 S37) I have mounted my 20" on a swivel bracket to stow it away. I'll go back to the drawing board and see if I can swivel some more, height is not a problem.
Thanks for inspiration
