There are 'black boxes' that distribute (& boost) UHF aerial signals, for use by multi users in other rooms. This entails running cables around the house.

There are 'black boxes' that distribute outputs from DVD's etc, wirelessly to other rooms. Everyone then has to watch the same 'programme'.

Is there a wireless 'black box', that will distribute a UHF aerial signal to other rooms, so that each user can independantly decide what to watch. I can't find anything & would like to do this.
Is there a technical problem?

LIDL's were doing a kit 2 weeks ago for £9.99. Splits the signal into 3. Came with about 20m of cable and all the splitter boxes and fittings. Can then be plugged into 3 different TV's / laptops and each person can watch what they want.

To re-transmit the UHF aerial signal round the house it would have to boosted first. It would then cause a feedback loop because your aerial would pick up the boosted and re-tramsmitted signal. This would cause picture ghosting due to a time lag in the latter signal. It would also probably affect your neighbours TV reception too. Also, to my knowledge there is no domestic radio license availble to transmit UHF TV frequencies (for good reason), thus such a product is unlikely to be available.

I have seen a device designed to share the signal from a sky or cable box via wireless to another TV, but dont know where to look for it.

there are plenty of boxes that will allow wireless transmission of channels around the home, but only one channel at a time on all the tv's in the house, which is what alan is trying to avoid. He wants the ability to watch different channels on different tv's (effectively multiple tuners)

I have a setup simular to your requirement.

Aerial into video recoreder chained to satellite TV decoder then into 4 way UHF splitter then to each of 4 TV's.

Each TV tuned to land based TV chanel (4 in our case) and also tuned to output from Video recoreder and satellite decoder.

One of the TV's includes it own video recoreder.

Any TV can receive any of the 6 channels.
can record 2 different channels on the recorders at the same time.

Only restriction is common satellite channel so can only watch one satellite channel at a time at the moment. (must convince SWMBO to get multi receiving satellite decoder) then we can watch 2 different satellite channels and record third on its own internal hard drive.
