I have just bought a small TV for my boat which lives on a swinging mooring in the lake district. Another boat on a jetty mooring nearby gets a good signal with a standard TV aerial so I live in hope! The TV receives analogue and digital signals. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good omnidirectional aerial. I have seen Maxview, Status, Glomex and Triax makes. Does anyone have good or bad experience with any of these?

If the Omnidirectional doesn't work (mine didn't) then you can just use a £15 B & Q aerial. That is what I now use whilst at anchor. When the picture goes then you know the tide is turning!!

Sometimes need binoculars to look at any local houses to see which way their aerials are pointing.

If anyone wants it I've got a TV signal booster that works on 12v just removed from our boat. Complete with variable gain control!!!
