Does anyone know the Artist performing "Easy rider" on the HSBC advertisment. The one with the Motorcyclist riding through South America. Driving me round the bend cos I recognise it but can't place it.

It seems it's called 'Ezy Ryder' by Jimi Hendrix and is on the album First Rays of the New Rising Sun.

Jimi H ! I thought it sounded a tad like but could not convince myself and was'nt familiar with the track. But yes it does sound like Jimi H.

And it's a totally free ad for BMW's excellent and extremely wonderful 1150GS motorbike. I wonder whether this is the first example of sneaky product placement in a bank ad, anything to earn a buck

I saw Jimi Hendrix in concert on the Isle of Wight. He was soooooooo fab !!! ....... my mother thought I was at Janice Kent's house for the weekend and her mother thought she was at mine. Thank god we didn't have a phone then !!!
