Am looking to sort out our condensation problem.
I have establised ventilation but still have condesation.
I am looking into purchasing tube heaters but concerned re electricity costs.
Do you ideally need to run them 24 h or is there a time of day that is better to switch them on, via timer?
Have also looked into dehumidifiers but also concerned re running costs. Our marina charges for electricity units.
Would very much appreciate any input people might have
cheers

I have a 800w oil filled radiator which costs 5p an hour at domestic rates and a mini de-humidifier (see nauticalia.co.uk) cost 0.4p per hour. Admittedly they both run 24/7 because my electricity is rolled into my marina fees but result is a bone dry boat.

sounds like you need to address the ventilation as well, cause if the ventilation is right, that will reduce the condensation.
