thought :

if between 4 and 8 of us got together and bought a big display ad, the cost would be lower and the ad better.

broker takes between 6 and 8% which is on a 50k / 100k boat is a lot of money.

we split the cost equally between the 8 of us, buy a really impressive ad and link either to your own webspace or if you don't have any I'll put your details up FOC on mine.

or even I'm sure boatone may help? (Tony any thoughts)

please send a private email (PM) if you think you would like to be involved. need to limit this to a max of say 8 or maybe 10 as I just want to sell my boat and not turn this into a business.

We would just keep it simple, nobody charging the other and costs equally split.

deadline for MBY this month is around the 10th so we need to move fast.

I'll phone MBY for half page ad this morning so figures will be ready.

You could change your ID-pic to a pic of your boat and have the signature as a brief desc and price of aforementioned boat....there's a cunning plan 4 U :-D
