Trying to post a photo

I can copy the url into my post as I did above but that just produces the url. How do I post it, as you have done, as a picture?

right click on the photo & copy & paste the properties in between

From the list of codes that appear under the thumbnail in your album that appear when you "mouse over" the thumbnail copy the line labelled IMG code and paste that directly into your post.

By the way from "link options" set it so that the links appear always not just on mouse over. Make life a whole lot easier IMHO

Which of the obscurely labelled link options does that?

Click on <span style="color:blue">"link options" </span> at the bottom of the list of codes. In the box that then opens, on the "get link code tab" tick all the particular codes you want to appear normally (probably just the direct link and the Img codes for both full size images and clickable thumbnails)
Then click the "radio button" for "Always" and finally save.
