Aquapower has it - vogels. I don't have them on my boat. I prefer the ultra thin 29 mm TVs mounted flat on the wall with no bracket

That looks dreadful, so 2005.

pete this is the thinnest one I have found but jfm has just given me the idea of mounting it without a bracket straight onto the wardrobe wall I never even thought about doing that, thing with mine is I have the circuit breakers in the cupboards that pull down so I still need to be able to get to them ??

Not sure how JFM mounts without any bracket whatsoever but there are loads of low profile brackets available that don't offer cantilever / swivel feature and would allow you to remove the TV to access whatever you need to.

Pete the TV is just pressed onto the wall, which is the plywood end panel of the wardrobe. 4 holes are drilled in the wall, to line up with the TV's "vesa" holes, and the TV is bolted straight on, ie no bracket whatsoever. Another big hole in the wall lets the cables thru, and then a trim panel is added to the inside of the wardrobe to hide it all. TVs are 29mm thick Samsungs. Each to their own but I wouldn't have it any other way because this gives such a clean look imho

Yup, below is the one I used at home.
It just adds 15mm thickness, practically unnoticeable. And of course, can be used also whenever it's not feasible to fit through bolts.
Otoh, it's not a capsize-proof solution, as the one of jfm... :D

Understood and agree that's as low profile as you can get providing you can undo the bolts from the rear.

I guess an even cleaner look would be to recess it but that may be overkill for that particular cabin install.

what I am thinking now is use a vesa tv mount as a template to drill the holes straight through into the wardrobe then screw 4 lengths of threaded bar into the back of the tv and bolt it to the inside of the wardrobe secure with washers and bolts cut the excess bar off and that's about as flush as I could get it, then get a blanking panel to hide it on the inside of the wardobe I think this would be similar to how JFM has done his ?????

I think that's exactly what he's done. You should be able to download a vesa tv mount template from the web or make your own.

Yes, exactly how mine is done. You don't need a template as VESA is round numbers like 150mmx150mm or whatever so you can mark it out on masking tape, and M6/M8/M10 depending on size of TV
