Toying with the idea of going bigger again. Anyone got any thoughts, experiences or opinions on the Sealine 360 Statesman or F36 (can't afford an F37)? Already decided the F33 is too small...

Supposed to be a good boat and being shaftdrive rather than sterndrive, definitely better than the F33. MBM ran a F36 as a company boat and now have a F37 so I guess it ran well. Uberfuhrer Hollamby, ex MBM editor and now forum moderator, took one around the UK so he should have some words of wisdom on the subject

Not cramped, but you realise that more space would be better. We made Salcombe in the end, via Weymouth, Brixham and Dartmouth. Met up with Jimi, BTW, and his bog still honks...

Hi Graham The F36 yes we have one we use for the seas school so as you can imagine it works hard every day.
I have no problems with the boat so far, port engine water pump is all, engines have done 1400 plus hrs.
When I brought her over from Menorca to Del Sol (550nm) she handled some pretty big seas
(F6-7 on the nose Mallorca to Ibiza) very well indeed, in fact she handled them a lot better than I did.
Fine boat IMHO

Graham, we looked at a F36 and keep looking. Very nice boat, but low headroom in salon. I'm 6'1" and had to lower my head or relax one leg to stand reasonably comfortably. Fuel in bilge and could not find the source. I note that Kim(MBM this month)) on his 37 had fuel leakage probs. Go for it!!

Purchased a Sealine 360 Statesman approx 18 months ago rather than a F33 as extra length and width transformed the space. In all respects have been more than pleased and still prefer the layout to a F36 in the saloon. Plus points are the seperate shower/heads arrangement and lower galley. All in all a great boat to own and ideal for cruising etc. & if you end up with one doubt you will have any regrets.
Regards and happy hunting.
David
