My usually reliable Trumatic E2400 ( gas eberspacher!!) wont start, is there an expert in the house.
On switch on the fan runs, after 30 seconds there is a click and the gas flows but no signs of lift off.
Gas and power have been checked.
Any ideas??

We had similar symptons on our mikuni. Water had found its way up the exhaust and as soon as it started getting warm the water evaporated putting the flame out. We put a bit more bend in the exhaust and kept retrying and all ok in the end.

Yes water in the 'swan neck' on my diesel Eber stopped it starting.

Certainly worth a look I found that with my Eber exhust on the side rather than the stern ..in certain conditions when going to windward, water somehow gets in.

Thanks guys,
The unit is back at base on the bench, not an exhaust problem or low voltage.
It doesnt even seem to be trying to fire up at all.
I may look for a second hand one and try to isolate the fault (heater, control board, or control switch)
Thanks again
