truck / boat trailer - looks very useful

Sarabande,

my first thought is, 'is it high enough inside to take a yacht ?'

Maybe restricted to lift keelers ?

Not sure who'd want to transport their boat often enough to make it worthwhile, and it's not exactly going to sip fuel !

That's a hell of a lot of truck for the price.

One has to question it's overall condition (no mention of MOT or equivalent) as he says "may considder breaking if enough interest"

That's a lot of truck for a 7 1/2 tonner (long body) That really does push the limit of what you can drive on an (old) standard driving licence.

What's the law about parking one of those in the street outside one's house ? (Note: I know what the neighbours will say, but what does the law say ?)

Assuming it's a normal road with no parking restrictions, and you're not obstructing access, I don't think the law has any objection.

But you will need about 3 car lengths space to park it in, and at that length of body, the turning circle will be pretty poor.

I actually think it would be more useful for it's purpose without the curtain sides.

Having driven a 7 1/2 tonner well loaded for over 1000 miles, I can tell you it will do probably 500 miles to a tank full. But prepare for a shock when you fill the tank.

I can't really imagine anyone is going to buy that truck just to take their boat home for the winter. More likely someone looking to get into boat transport as a business.
