Expecting the edge of tropical storm Gordon here in Galicia tomorrow,on its way from the Azores.......

I read it in the local rag,as the rest of Spain swelters in heatwave Galicia will be cooledby GORDON .....quite breezy at the momment!

As Salty John says, not Gordon. You will see a front off the low West of UK. Gordon wont be in Azores till sun or mon. Local rag is pants.

Now been upgraded to a Hurricane and should be near the southern Azores.
looks like it is heading for us in Portugal at the moment but could swing more north and dissipate (I hope).
If not you are welcome to it Moggy. No doubt we will get the swell anyway.

Now upgraded to category 2 (winds 110mph) and moving eastward faster although it is still predicted to dissipate somewhat starting Sun /Mon.
I think it is due in Portugal sometime round about Wednesday or Thursday.
With Springs as well it is not a good time to be out sailing.
