Hi all

On this week's Channel 5 prgramme Highland Emergency, an RAF ASR helicopter was called out to collect a sick crewman from the ship Triton. This vessel was described as an oil rig support ship that was a converted supertanker. Does anybody have any info on it at all as (to my untrained eye) it looked really unusual and I'd like to find out more about it.

Cheers

The name was on the helideck, so there was no hint of its registry. The airlift took place at night, so no livery could be seen, although as the helicopter pilot noted, the ship was lit up like the SuperStar Destroyer in Star Wars. The incident took place about 150 NM NE of Lossiemouth. I've googled the name but nothing really apparent comes up!
