Setting off from Plockton, the new pontoon is great for loading up for trip as it saves all those runs in the dingy.

This is Fyne Lass in Plockton and looks great undersail as well.

Then over the sea to Skye ,the island to starboard is Crowlin with the Cullins of skye in the distance.

And the crew are happy , shame that water is so cold it looks great for a swim ,

And the Daughters Happy with new boyfeind, we anchored up in Churchton bay at the island of Rassay to go see a mate as it was his 70th, before setting of for Skye again.

Great Pictures, and that's a rather fine craft you have there!

Hope you enjoyed the Saw Doctors; it's some years since I saw them but they're a great live band. They used to have a roadie called Paddy O'Neill, who would come on stage half way through their set and recite a poem about his life - which mostly seemed to consist of smoking funny cigarettes and drinking pints of Guinness. Happy days......

Thats a shame no paddy this time, the great thing about portree hall is that you are allowed a pint inside from the bar (plastic pints) and a simple felt tip pen cross on the back of your hand lets you outside for a fag when ever you want.

I trust you got Hugh to grab something out of a nearby bush, run down to the sea and whip an edible sea creature out of the surf, only to magic them into a mouthwatering feast with only the aid of a trestle table, a frying pan and a temperamental gas ring.

EDIT:

Just occurred to me that your 'Henry' may be Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, which may explain why he refused to serve you breakfast. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Great Pictures ... and a wonderful place to be boating.

New Pontoon at Plockton looks just the biz... missed that one two years ago.

This year we'll be concentrating on Gigha, Jura, Isla, Ilona and areas around Mull, so won't reach Skye and Plockton, which is very nice indeed. Will post pictures in August when we're back..

So, have you worked out why Hugh, who you called Henry, and then pointed out that he looked fatter and shorter on the telly, wouldn't cook you breakfast?
