Hi i am thinking of selling my very nice trintella 29 can any one tell me what the average rate is for a broker

8% plus VAT is what alot of brokers quote as standard,but can be reduced by haggling.

Why use one?Put an add on Boats and Outboards for free. Send letters to the secretary of all your local yacht clubs.

The Trintella is a great boat .Im sure you wont have trouble finding a buyer.

And also took out an ad in YM.

Sold in 4 months - no broker.

sounds like it might be a cheaper plan than a broker

I think it depends on how willing and able you are to manage the sale yourself (time, motivation, proximity to boat). A good reason for doing it yourself may be that with a classic boat like the Trintella 29 you'll have lots of questions that a broker can't answer, and you'll end up up "selling its virtues" anyway!!

sure is a good boat , the big problem is finding one as good but a bit bigger.I am looking for a tayana 37 looks like it might fit the bill.
