Trim tabs

I am a novice boater looking for assistance with my trim tabs. The trim tabs were working before taking the boat out the water for the winter. However, having put her back into the water, they now fail to move. Have checked the electrical supply within the boat and haven't found a problem there. Can't understand why the motors on both trim tabs would appear to fail at the same time.

Has anybody got any suggestions please?

did you check the main fuse sometimes it looks good but its a slow blow fuse and can be deceptive. replace the fuse and try again.

The fuse was found to be blown when the boat was put back in the water (may have gone when out though). Have now replaced and can see the lights on the control panel but am unable to move the position of either trim tab.

I thing there are some relays on the trim tabs, these are prone to corrosion and may be worth checking.

Also worth checking whether there is fluid in the reservoir as this often leaks out past the ram seals
