Trim tabs

I recently re-engined my Mitchell 31 MKII with a 270 hp Cummins driving a four blade prop,and am finding the stern too low when underway,anybody with similar boat has installed trim tabs,and what have the results been?

Trim tabs will bring the nose down. Speak to Mitchells they must have encountered this before they've been around long enough I bet they can give you the correct angle so you can fit permenant ones rather than electro/mechanical ones which will save you a wheel barrow full of dosh.
